Success in this role relies on mechanical and controls proficiency and a thorough grasp of documentation practices, compliance regulations, and manufacturing workflows. All documentation must align with our ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct research, develop written materials, validate content accuracy, and edit documents for publication.</li>\n <li>Interpret a variety of source materials, including procedural markups, engineering drawings, parts lists, and draft assembly for maintenance and installation instructions.</li>\n <li>Collect information from subject matter experts to structure, develop, and write technical service documentation.</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt to Daifuku editorial and review processes.</li>\n <li>Meet deadlines consistently, track and evaluate progress, and leverage available resources to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.</li>\n <li>Manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and collaborate with a diverse team. Maintain strict adherence to style guidelines and accuracy standards.</li>\n <li>Communicate complex engineering concepts clearly and translate them into content appropriate for the intended audience.</li>\n <li>Utilize CAD software to discern changes in products and translate those changes into effective written communication.</li>\n <li>Produce draft illustrations—using model files or existing artwork—to support descriptive text.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field</li>\n <li>+2 years of technical writing experience</li>\n <li>Experience with AI tools for technical writing, such as automated content generation, translation, and metadata tagging.</li>\n <li>Preferred experience in distribution center, manufacturing warehousing, or packaging machine environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards</li>\n <li>Exposure to industrial automation systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of ANSI/ISO graphics and writing standards.</li>\n <li>Experience with the Microsoft suite, Adobe software, and Autodesk programs.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD and SolidWorks Composer software.</li>\n <li>Familiar with structured topic-based (DITA) technical writing including experience with PTC Arbortext XML editor or equivalent authoring tool.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefit Information</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Many great benefits to include Health/Vision/Dental/401k with match/Pet Insurance</li>\n <li>FSA/HSA</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p>EOE Minorities/Women/Disabled/VeteransFederal ContractorIf you need assistance applying to an open position online, please email [email protected]</p>",
