K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>This is a pro-bono volunteer position.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>JerseySTEM is seeking a <strong>Lab Sciences Team Member/Curriculum Designer</strong> to play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our STEM education offerings for underrepresented middle school girls. As the Lab Sciences Team Member/Curriculum Designer, you will be creating engaging and hands-on lab sciences curriculum to inspire and educate young minds.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to design innovative lab-based activities.</li>\n <li>Develop comprehensive curriculum modules that align with JerseySTEM's mission and educational goals.</li>\n <li>Ensure that the lab sciences curriculum is age-appropriate and aligned with educational standards.</li>\n <li>Integrate interactive and inquiry-based learning techniques into curriculum materials.</li>\n <li>Review and improve existing lab sciences curriculum content for accuracy and effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and support to curriculum team members, offering mentorship and training.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with other curriculum teams to ensure interdisciplinary connections within programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong passion for STEM education and lab sciences.</li>\n <li>Experience in curriculum design and development, particularly in lab sciences subjects.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of educational standards and best practices.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.</li>\n <li>Creativity in developing hands-on and engaging lab activities.</li>\n <li>Leadership and mentoring skills to guide a team of curriculum developers.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with digital tools for curriculum development.</li>\n <li>Commitment to promoting gender equity in STEM education.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Time Commitment</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>3-6 Hours weekly</li>\n <li>6 months minimum</li>\n</ul>",
