    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>The Storage Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, engineering, and operating enterprise storage platforms across a hybrid environment spanning on-prem data centers and cloud environments. This role focuses on SAN, NAS, and hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) storage solutions including NetApp, Dell Isilon, Dell Unity, and HPE Alletra.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is a hands-on storage engineer with deep expertise in storage protocols, connectivity models, and provisioning who can translate architectural designs into reliable, scalable, and high-performing storage solutions supporting enterprise workloads.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, build, and support enterprise storage platforms across SAN, NAS, and HCI environments.</li>\n <li>Engineer and manage storage solutions including NetApp (ONTAP), Dell Isilon (PowerScale), Dell Unity, and HPE Alletra.</li>\n <li>Provision and manage storage resources including volumes, LUNs, shares, and file systems across multi-tenant environments.</li>\n <li>Configure and manage SAN environments including zoning, masking, and WWPN-based connectivity.</li>\n <li>Design and support storage connectivity models including Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, Direct Attached Storage (DAS), and NVMe-based storage architectures.</li>\n <li>Manage and optimize storage performance, capacity, and availability across platforms.</li>\n <li>Lead storage-related activities for system migrations, data center moves, and workload transitions.</li>\n <li>Work closely with server, virtualization, and application teams to align storage solutions with compute and workload requirements.</li>\n <li>Implement and maintain backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies across storage platforms.</li>\n <li>Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for storage and performance-related issues.</li>\n <li>Monitor storage systems and proactively address capacity, performance, and reliability risks.</li>\n <li>Maintain storage documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, data protection requirements, and configuration baselines.</li>\n <li>Drive automation and standardization of storage provisioning and management tasks where applicable.</li>\n <li>Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation, providing escalation support for storage and infrastructure incidents.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.25in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:4.5pt\"><strong>Skills and Competencies:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong expertise in enterprise storage platforms including NetApp, Dell Isilon (PowerScale), Unity, and HPE Alletra.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Deep understanding of storage networking concepts, including WWPN, zoning, masking, and SAN fabric design.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of storage protocols and connectivity models:&nbsp;\n  <ul>\n   <li>Fibre Channel (FC)</li>\n   <li>iSCSI</li>\n   <li>Direct Attached Storage (DAS)</li>\n   <li>NVMe / NVMe-over-Fabrics</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Experience with both block and file storage architecture.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of storage performance tuning, IOPS, throughput, latency, and capacity planning.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience with replication, snapshots, and disaster recovery strategies across storage platforms.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Familiarity with virtualization integrations (VMware) and storage-backed workloads.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Exposure to automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or vendor tools) for storage management.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to translate architecture into deployable storage solutions with high reliability.</li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting skills across multi-platform infrastructure environments.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong collaboration skills working with server, network, and application teams.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and pride in delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.</li>\n <li>5 to 8+ years of experience in storage engineering or infrastructure engineering.</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with enterprise SAN/NAS storage platforms.</li>\n <li>Strong experience with storage provisioning, zoning, and performance management.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting enterprise data center environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with HCI storage platforms and converged infrastructure stacks.</li>\n <li>Experience working alongside VMware and virtualization environments.</li>\n <li>Exposure to cloud-based storage services and hybrid storage architectures.</li>\n <li>Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code concepts.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting large-scale storage environments and migrations.</li>\n <li>Exposure to backup platforms and data protection tools (Cohesity, Data Domain, etc.).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Required Licensing or Certifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>NetApp or Dell/EMC
