Prior experience in healthcare or healthcare-focused software is considered an advantage.</p><p></p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><p><strong>Product Ownership & Agile Leadership</strong></p><ul><li>Act as the primary contact for major system issues and product-related inquiries.</li><li>Gather and document requirements from clients and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring readiness for development.</li><li>Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other team meetings.</li><li>Collaborat closely with developers and QA to ensure product quality, accurate implementation, and smooth releases.</li><li>Communicate the value of new features to internal teams and clients.</li><li>Oversee and mentor the Product Owner team, including goal-setting, project assignments, and performance evaluations.</li><li>Maintain internal tools such as developer PTO and assignment trackers.</li></ul><br><strong>Regulatory Compliance</strong><ul><li>Handle system certification processes (e.g., ONC, Surescripts, MDToolbox/DEA).</li><li>Ensure ongoing compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards.<br> </li></ul><p><strong>Manual Testing Team Oversight</strong></p><ul><li>Managed structure and productivity of the manual testing team.</li><li>Aligned testing timelines with product delivery schedules.</li><li>Provided regular performance feedback.</li></ul><p><strong>Clinical Services (MIPS) Oversight</strong></p><ul><li>Directed MIPS Services in line with financial and strategic objectives.</li><li>Ensured regulatory compliance and managed escalations.</li><li>Coordinated with Reg-ent and leadership, delivered financial reporting, and trained new staff on MIPS-related tasks.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Proven experience conducting user research and synthesizing insights through user flows, personas, and other methodologies.</li><li>Experience in the healthcare or health technology industry related to medical practices</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities, distinguish between critical roadblocks and distractions, and make sound decisions under pressure.</li><li>Strong data-driven mindset with experience leveraging analytics to inform product decisions.</li><li>Proactive and self-motivated, with the judgment to know when to seek guidance.</li><li>Extensive experience gathering, documenting, and communicating detailed requirements, including functional, technical, reporting, and data needs.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams and stakeholders.</li><li>Deep experience working in Agile environments, breaking down epics into actionable stories, and guiding teams through the software development lifecycle.</li><li>Track record of successful technology product design, implementation, and delivery.</li><li>Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and mentoring.</li><li>Proficiency with Jira and cloud-based architectures.</li></ul><p></p><p>This is an Independent Contractor position.</p><p>Job Type: Full-time Remote</p><p>Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST</p><p></p><p>This job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.  It is not a complete statement of duties, responsibilities or requirements.  Other duties not listed here may be assigned as necessary to ensure proper operations of the department.</p>",
