This includes plan review, inspection, and HUD services.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Summary: </strong>Provide plan review services in accordance with the modular State program or the Local Authority having Jurisdiction, AHJ where State programs do not exist, supporting the needs of our manufacturing clients and design professionals. Reviews may include Building, Egress, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire and several specialty reviews. ICC NTA’s Modular Account Managers, MAMs are leaders in the industry providing detailed opinions on building designs as they relate to the applicable codes and programs. The ICC NTA MAM team has a national footprint and works with all State and local codes as required</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct code and program related reviews of design packages and/or manuals within the prescribed expectations of the program and department.</li><li>When required provide clarification to clients and in a timely manner review responses to design package and/or manuals from the clients.</li><li>Participate in the department peer review program as required.</li><li>Complete and maintain ICC and State required credentialing as determined essential for the position.</li><li>Address general inquiries from clients as directed and in keeping with department time professionalism expectations.</li><li>Follow up as required on all in-plant state audits to ensure compliance and prepare response for cited item(s). Address inquiries from the Inspection Staff, manufacturers, and general clients regarding questions on approved designs, supporting documentation, and code related issues.</li><li>Perform other duties, responsibilities, and special assignments as directed.</li></ul><p><strong>Secondary Functions:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Recommend and help develop improved systems, policies, and procedures for the Modular Department.</li><li>Establish and maintain excellent relations with the States and ensure we are respected as leaders and partners.</li><li>Help ensure all applicable procedures are compliant with State requirements and are implemented and consistently followed in the execution of inspection and design review jobs/projects.</li><li>Continually identify and pursue opportunities for process improvements within the Department and NTA. &nbsp;Promote continuous improvement within the department.</li><li>Help to maintain internal code reference guides, the synopsis, and assist in developing audit programs that will ensure: NTA’s continuous ability to comply with all applicable regulatory and industry requirements and practices for plan review and inspection processes.</li><li>Promote effective communication throughout the organization.
