Gen Tech 3’s are expected to work independently in the field, lead service projects, and support our Level 1 and Level 2 Gen Techs.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on commercial and industrial generator and associated systems.</li><li>Troubleshoot and service complex electrical issues, engine performance problems, and control system faults.</li><li>Conduct full system testing including load bank testing, frequency/voltage checks, and ATS operation validation.</li><li>Interpret and apply wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.</li><li>Lead or support large-scale emergency service response efforts.</li><li>Maintain complete and accurate service records, parts usage, and technical reports.</li><li>Provide support and guidance to Gen Tech 1 and 2’s.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure successful completion of work.</li><li>Promote and enforce GenServe’s safety practices and protocols at all job sites.</li><li>Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response duties as needed and resolve equipment issues on-site.</li><li>Coordinate with dispatch to schedule multi-day service jobs and manage rental equipment for complex repairs, ensuring timely availability and efficient resource allocation.</li><li>Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to emergency service requests and ensure timely resolution of customer issues.</li></ul>",
