This role works closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe and accurate imaging during procedures, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory, safety, and departmental requirements.&nbsp;We believe our team members are at the heart of our organization.&nbsp;Our employees are more than just another number. The ideal candidate will be skilled in:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment to support physicians during interventional pain management procedures, including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulator trials, and other image-guided procedures.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure proper positioning of the C-arm and patient to obtain optimal imaging while maintaining radiation safety for patients and clinical staff.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging as directed by the physician in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines.</li>\r\n\t<li>Apply appropriate radiation safety practices, including shielding, collimation, and minimizing radiation exposure consistent with ALARA principles.</li>\r\n\t<li>Prepare patients for imaging and procedures by verifying patient identity, explaining imaging steps, and ensuring appropriate positioning and comfort.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain and perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly and promptly report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor or service provider.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to imaging and patient care in the electronic medical record.</li>\r\n\t<li>Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and support safe procedural operations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain current knowledge of radiologic technology, fluoroscopy techniques, and radiation safety standards through continuing education and training.</li>\r\n\t<li>Possess strong understanding of fluoroscopy positioning and imaging techniques</li>\r\n\t<li>Display excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety</li>\r\n\t<li>Work effectively and maintain composure in a fast-paced, procedure-based clinical environment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Associate/Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.</li>\r\n\t<li>ARRT (RT(R)) certification required.</li>\r\n\t<li>State of Mississippi and Tennessee&nbsp;Medical Board X-Ray Operators License required.</li>\r\n\t<li>Significant and experience operating C-arm fluoroscopy equipment required.</li>\r\n\t<li>Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging best practices.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>BLS certification required.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong><em>About the Practice:</em></strong><em>&nbsp;</em></p>\r\n\r\n<p>MidSouth Pain Treatment Center (MPTC) was founded in 2000, with the goal of addressing the lack of treatment options for pain-related medical issues in rural areas.
