Ensure responsibilities are assigned in a fair and&nbsp;equitable&nbsp;manner. Report&nbsp;to&nbsp;and work with Manager on behavioral and/or performance challenges that may arise among Crew Members.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Provide in-field training on horticultural techniques, safety, equipment uses, and respectful communication.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Familiarize Crew Members with all aspects of&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;accounts (including location of management office, security and particulars about parking and restrooms).&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Brief Crew Members daily on goals and expectations. Keep Crew&nbsp;apprised&nbsp;of changes to routine.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Schedule 10-minute morning and afternoon breaks and half-hour lunch as appropriate.&nbsp;Agree on&nbsp;times&nbsp;with Crew Members.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Prioritize and plan work for the day/week. Keep Manager&nbsp;apprised&nbsp;of changes to scheduled route and/or need for&nbsp;assistance.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Report&nbsp;immediately&nbsp;to&nbsp;Manager&nbsp;any accidents, illnesses or other non-routine occurrence that is a cause&nbsp;for&nbsp;concern and/or that may disrupt work schedule.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Perform landscape maintenance tasks on customers&rsquo; property including, but not limited to:&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Maintenance of trees, shrubs,&nbsp;perennial&nbsp;and seasonal flowers.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Use of hand shears, hand&nbsp;pruners&nbsp;and hand loppers. Gas and electric equipment such as power shears, power blowers, mowers, line trimmers and blowers&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Mowing, edging, blowing fertilizer application, weed control, bed raking,&nbsp;trimming&nbsp;and pruning.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Perform all regular tasks including but not limited to leaf and debris removal.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Watering&nbsp;containers,&nbsp;beds&nbsp;and hanging baskets as needed.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Report to&nbsp;Manager, on&nbsp;same-day&nbsp;basis, on the need for&nbsp;replacement&nbsp;plants or special services, or about customer concerns.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach to service while communicating with crew members,&nbsp;supervisors&nbsp;and managers&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Project a good company image&nbsp;to&nbsp;our customers and the&nbsp;general public&nbsp;at all times.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Ensure a professional appearance, good&nbsp;hygiene&nbsp;and a clean uniform.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Understand and uphold Exterior Department Quality Standards.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Responsible for managing equipment including but not limited to:&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Report problems/concerns with equipment and tools or need for tools/equipment and supplies&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Keeping&nbsp;track of issued tools at all times.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Keep tools in working order ensuring they are clean, sharp, organized, and labeled accordingly.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Keep power equipment secured with cable and lock when in truck and not in use.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Keep tools and equipment organized and secure when on job sites.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Work vehicle maintenance:&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Maintain clean&nbsp;vehicle&nbsp;at all times, ensuring interior and exterior cleanliness.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Remove personal items from vehicles daily (lunchboxes, cell phones, garbage, etc.).&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Adhere to Company maintenance inspection policy.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Report&nbsp;any and all&nbsp;accidents (regardless of nature and severity) immediately.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Wash truck weekly and keep&nbsp;cab&nbsp;interior clean and organized.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Complete monthly Vehicle Inspections and complete required paperwork.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Ensure working hours, including overtime, have been recorded accurately and truthfully for each&nbsp;time period&nbsp;worked.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Ensure interior and exterior work sites are restored to original condition, or better if necessary-- without holes, exposed pipes or gravel, footprints in beds or interior spaces, exposed roots, or soil/debris on surrounding hardscape upon completion of work.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Under direction of Supervisor,&nbsp;assist&nbsp;in general upkeep of shop. Help direct Crew Members in this effort.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Participate in company LEAN activities and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;areas as assigned.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Monitor emails, and phone messages throughout workday and respond&nbsp;in a timely manner.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Level Requirements:&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Minimum of 1-2 years of horticultural education or equivalent industry experience.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Must have a valid Driver&rsquo;s License and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a clean driving record.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Must be knowledgeable of&nbsp;various types&nbsp;of common plants and be able to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;the plants that the Company&nbsp;maintains.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Verifiable good working knowledge of proper horticultural techniques including pruning, watering, fertilizing and insect and disease control.&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Experience using standard landscape equipment and tools properly and safely (21&nbsp;mower, line&nbsp;trimmer,&nbsp;blower, power shears, and hand tools).&nbsp;</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>A current pesticide application license (Commercial Operators License) is preferred.
