Projects often involve hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain analyses, detention/water quality BMP design, stream restoration, bridge scour, trail design, stormwater management plans, MS4 compliance, and water rights.           "text": "<p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field</li><li>A minimum of 15 years of experience in stormwater engineering</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain upon hire, and have experience in providing engineering services the state</li><li>Practical application of various H&amp;H software, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and XPSWMM</li><li>At least 5 years of experience in the following:<ul><li>Managing teams of engineers to provide stormwater engineering services</li><li>Mentoring and leading junior engineers in technical and non-technical aspects of stormwater engineering</li></ul></li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>At least 5 years of experience in the following:<ul><li>Business development and client management</li><li>Developing and guiding construction plan packages and/or master planning studies</li><li>Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Letters of Map Change (LOMC) and floodplain mapping AutoCAD and GIS</li><li>Construction oversight of stormwater project installations</li></ul></li></ul>",
