    "jobDescription": "<p><b><span>Who You’ll Work With:</span></b></p><p><span>The Fund Administration Analyst plays a critical role in overseeing all activities associated with a group of pooled investment vehicles while providing support and guidance to colleagues and business partners.  The role entails ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables as well as ensuring all requirements of our internal and external customers are managed efficiently and effectively.  The position will multi-task, problem solve &amp; troubleshoot, analyze and effectively communicate.  The role is also expected to interact with and manage external business partners as well as initiate and lead process improvement initiatives.    </span></p><p></p><p><b><span>What You’ll Do:</span></b></p><ul><li>Oversee and analyze NAV calculation performed by delegated service provider for accuracy</li><li>Assist in audit coordination, audit query resolution and provide feedback on financial statements</li><li>Support jurisdictional tax and other regulatory reporting requirements</li><li>Ensure deliverable deadlines are monitored and achieved</li><li>Research and resolve any identified operational issues and notify management accordingly</li><li>Provide timely support to internal and external queries or requests</li><li>Collaborate and communicate with team members as well as business partners</li><li>Participate in process documentation, training, improvement proposals and implementation</li><li>Assist with ad hoc special projects including fund launches, liquidations, data requests, etc.</li><li>Understand trial balance activities including income, expenses (including management &amp; incentive fees), derivative transactions, currency implications and dividend distributions  </li><li>Ensure fund compliance with relevant regulatory bodies (i.e. IRS, SEC, CSSF, etc.)</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What We’re Looking For:</span></b></p><ul><li><p>3-5&#43; years’ experience hedge fund/private equity</p></li><li><p>Bachelor&#39;s degree in accounting/finance</p></li><li><p>Proficient in accounting knowledge, preferably in fund valuation</p></li><li><p>Familiarty with review of annual reports, tax reporting, and regulatory requirements.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, analytical, and organization skills</p></li><li><p>Attention to detail</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>About AB</u></b> </p><p>We are a leading global investment management firm offering high-quality research and diversified investment services to institutional clients, retail investors, and private-wealth clients in major markets around the globe.
