(NYSE: PWR). </p>\n<p>Build your career at Irby Construction.</p>\n<h2>About this Role</h2>\n<p>A Superintendent at Irby Construction Company shall possess a minimum of five (5) years of Transmission construction experience (Foreman or Above). The individual will possess all of the skills required for assignment as a superintendent for any craft within his/her area of responsibility.  Such an employee shall also have in depth knowledge of all applicable OSHA codes and standards. Must be able to direct multiple crews. <strong>THIS JOB POSTING IS FOR TX adn OK.</strong></p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Attend pre-construction meeting with PM/Estimator.</li>\n <li>Provide technical assistance, interpretation of drawings, recommend construction methods and equipment etc. as required.</li>\n <li>Review bid packages for accuracy, completeness, and overall electrical scope of work.</li>\n <li>Assist in instituting construction plans</li>\n <li>Organize crews & assign foreman to job task</li>\n <li>Generate list of required personnel & equipment. </li>\n <li>Generate initial list of required tooling.</li>\n <li>Arrange for personnel & equipment transfers to project. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Construction Duties</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Review and become familiar with multiple contracts.</li>\n <li>Accountable for quality of work to ensure that it is being performed according to specifications. </li>\n <li>Visit crews and monitor their safety, quality, & production. </li>\n <li>Assist the Foreman in coordination of major project activities \n  <ul>\n   <li>Such as critical tasks</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Get feedback from owner on quality, safety, schedule, materials etc.</li>\n <li>Attend all required project meetings with Owner as needed.</li>\n <li>Assist with updating schedules and/or progress reports. </li>\n <li>Verify that as-builts & progress charts are maintained.</li>\n <li>Have a good line of communication with inspector.</li>\n <li>Insure that all change-orders are documented and billed to the Owner. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>General Duties</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Review personnel with Operations (i.e, personal evaluations, pay raises, CDL requirements, personal problems, loans, etc.).</li>\n <li>Arrange and/or participate in weekly foremen meetings (review if not attending).</li>\n <li>Ensure grounding procedures and EPZ zones are maintained</li>\n <li>Participate in monthly job safety review meetings.</li>\n <li>Accountable for cost, progress and schedule for duration of project. </li>\n <li>Assist BU with monthly forecast monthly. </li>\n <li>Accountable for compliance with safety program and review all accidents. </li>\n <li>Follow up on any complaints (from owner, general public, or landowners).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have at least 5 years of Transmission Construction experience. (Foreman or Above)</li>\n <li>Adheres to all Company Safety and Health Policies</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver’s license.</li>\n <li>Must be willing to stay out of town. Typical work weeks are 4-10 hour shifts or 5-10 hour shifts. Available to travel as the project requires. </li>\n <li>Willing to work over-time and be able to work extended periods of time. </li>\n <li>May work in storm restoration operations to rebuild and/or repair damaged power systems.</li>\n <li>May attend training classes or seminars to gather knowledge of new processes, safety regulations and/or refresher training.</li>\n <li>Walking and working across uneven terrain.</li>\n <li>Climbing on and off large trucks and equipment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work outside 100% of the time. We work in inclement weather that includes heat, cold, rain and possible snow. </li>\n <li>Able to lift in excess 50 pounds on a daily basis. </li>\n <li>Willing to work off the ground in man baskets.
