In this position, you will be responsible for designing layouts using AutoCAD/HydraCAD and creating hydraulic calculations.</p>\n<p>#shambaugh #LI-TS #LI-onsite</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for designing and the layout of Fire Sprinkler systems</li>\n <li>Read, analyze and interpret contract documents, including all disciplines of construction drawings and specifications</li>\n <li>Write, plan, coordinate and make presentation to individuals and groups</li>\n <li>Work with and comprehend mathematical concepts including hydraulic calculations and project cost analysis</li>\n <li>Develop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction</li>\n <li>Provide fire sprinkler designs with AutoCAD, HydraCAD, AutoSprink, and Revit</li>\n <li>Responsible for BIM modeling and field surveying</li>\n <li>Provide lists for fabrication and coordinate between the trades</li>\n <li>Other duties assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent experience. Examples include:  Architectural, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management Degrees</li>\n <li>7+ years in Fire Protection Design or a related field</li>\n <li>Strong analytical, critical thinking and mathematical aptitude, with attention to detail</li>\n <li>Good working knowledge of hydraulic calculations and ability to read and understand blueprints</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities under time constraints</li>\n <li>Flexible to be available as needed to travel to client sites</li>\n <li>Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
