Civil Estimating Lead - Heavy Civil Infrastructure

Requisition ID:  178824 Job Level:  Senior Level Home District/Group:  Central District Department:  Estimating Market:  Transportation Employment Type: Full Time Position Overview We are actively looking for an Estimating Manager, to lead estimates and an estimating team, for our Heavy Civil Infrastructure work in the TN, KY, MS and surrounding states.  In this role, you will work with key leaders in our our preconstruction and construction teams, supporting a variety of Infrastructure self-performed projects.  This division of Kiewit executes hands-on construction in the infrastructure market performing mass grading/excavation, drainage, paving, utility work, earthwork, site development, concrete, asphalt for large scale highway/bridge projects, aviation projects, rail/transit, reservoirs, and heavy water/wastewater.  If you have 10+ years in estimating for design build/EPC projects in the infrastructure market, and at least 5 years managing estimating teams, we would love to talk with you!   Duties will include but are not limited to leading and developing a team of estimators, participating in, and implementing win strategies, presenting estimates to executive management and clients, reading and interpreting documents, solicitating subcontractors, analyzing drawings and specifications, value management, reviewing and assisting with proposals, and other duties as required to prepare cost estimates/proposals for various types of work for Heavy Civil infrastructure, primarily all self-perform work.  If you are a Superintendent, with strong estimating skills and want to move into a role where you can focus on estimating and developing an estimating team - would love to talk with you. District Overview Kiewit’s Central District is one of our largest infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, structural concrete/bridge, water/wastewater, and transportation projects. We self-perform work such as mass grading, drainage, paving, underground piping, underground utility infrastructure, and more - so be ready to get your hands dirty! While headquartered in Denver, Colorado, the majority of our work is concentrated in the Central and South-Central regions of the United States. We are looking for people committed to the construction industry rather than design. Location This position is located in our Brentwood TN regional office, with travel as needed in the region and to other Kiewit offices.  We offer relocation assistance for this position.  This position does require being in the office, to manage the team, and is not hybrid, nor remote.
