We are currently hiring a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about providing quality care for women in our community.&nbsp;</p><p>SUMMARY: &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Assists with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks.&nbsp;</li><li>Obtains medical history and vital signs&nbsp;</li><li>Administers medication/injections based on the orders of the Provider</li><li>May perform scribe duties by documenting patient encounters in real-time into the EHR as directed by the Provider.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to rotate through both front and back office</li><li>Front office duties include scheduling, checking in/out patients, insurance verification, collection of copays, answering phones, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services.</li><li>Conveys a positive image of the clinic.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Must be caring, reliable, and patient-focused</li><li>High school degree or equivalent required.&nbsp;</li><li>At least 1 year of primary care office or urgent care setting preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>At least 1 year of MA experience</li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.&nbsp;</li><li>Front office experience preferred but not required&nbsp;</li></ul><p>LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required&nbsp;</li></ul><p>If you are someone who loves helping others and wants to be part of a supportive healthcare environment, we would love to hear from you.
