Apply today!</p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222\"> </span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222\">Niyam is seeking an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Full-Stack Developer <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">to support one of our federal clients.</span> </span>The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom software and database solutions to support both legacy and modernized systems. This role involves working as a key member of a product team, actively contributing to planning, development, testing, and release activities. The developer will analyze complex technical challenges and create innovative solutions that improve product performance, scalability, and maintainability. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional with strong expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members while ensuring project quality and timely delivery.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Roles and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and implement custom software and database application capabilities across various legacy and modernized systems.</li>\n<li>Participate fully in the software development lifecycle, including <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">release and sprint planning, testing, demonstrations, and retrospectives.</span></li>\n<li>Develop high-quality, maintainable code using modern frameworks and practices.</li>\n<li>Create RESTful APIs and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">microservices using</span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Java Spring Boot</span> and integrate them with responsive <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Angular</span> front-end components.</li>\n<li>Transform mockups and UI designs into functional, user-centered interfaces integrated with backend services.</li>\n<li>Analyze and solve complex technical problems involving system architecture, performance, and security.</li>\n<li>Ensure application quality, scalability, and maintainability through code reviews, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices.</li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior developers and teammates.</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with product owners, project managers, and cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.</li>\n<li>Participate in continuous improvement of software engineering processes, tools, and standards.</li>\n<li>Support release planning activities and contribute to software engineering guidelines and documentation.</li>\n<li>Provide periodic reports on development progress and quality metrics.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and Education Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>US Citizenship with ability to successfully complete a federal background investigation.</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field  (equivalent practical experience may be considered).</li>\n<li>Minimum of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">seven (7) years of experience</span> in software design, development, and implementation within a Windows or cloud-based environment.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated expertise in:\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PostgreSQL, Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices architecture</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">AWS</span> and cloud-based development</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript</span>, and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Angular Material</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESTful API</span> design and integration</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Source control and concurrent workflows</span> (Git preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Object-Oriented Design (OODD)</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)</span> principles.</li>\n<li>Experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SQL or PL/SQL</span> databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of all elements of the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">software development lifecycle (SDLC)</span>, including planning, development, configuration management, QA, and release management.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Certifications</span> such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Java.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ETL tools</span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Kafka</span>, or other messaging technologies.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">application security</span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">automated testing</span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">UML</span>, or <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">state management libraries</span> (e.g., NGRX, NGXS).</li>\n<li>Experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DevOps</span> tools and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CI/CD pipeline</span> implementation.</li>\n<li>Understanding of system architecture concepts including scalability, reliability, and maintainability.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89)\">Application Deadline:</span><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89)\"><span> </span>This position will be posted for a minimum of 2 business days or until a sufficient candidate pool has been collected.
