    "description": "<p> We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are currently recruiting for a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Civils Drainage Engineer</span> to join our team in Yorkshire, you will be working within a team to carry out groundwork tasks which include; Digging Trenches, Excavations, Laying Pipes, Spot Repairs and surface preparation for repair. Ensuring that you are providing exceptional customer service across  the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Malton Area</span>,<br>This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the role:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Location: Malton Yorkshire.</li>\n<li>Hours: 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm with a paid lunch). Overtime also available at time and a half.</li>\n<li>Salary: To be discussed</li>\n<li>Weekly pay</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p>As a Civils Drainage Engineer, you will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out groundwork tasks such as digging trenches, laying pipes, spot repairs and preparing surfaces for construction.</li>\n<li>Install and maintain over-pumping systems and maintain safe excavations with installation of ground support</li>\n<li>Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet</li>\n<li>Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks</li>\n<li>Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work and follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment and report any issues.</li>\n<li>Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Wearing and maintaining any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection at all times.\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring on and off sites are live to avoid any penalties with highways permits</li>\n<li>Reading and understand Drainage plans</li>\n<li>Recording photographic evidence of jobs performed and completed</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience and Qualifications:  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full UK driving license (Required)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Civils background ideally from Utilities</p>\n<p>Training will be provided, the ideal candidate will come with a number of tickets.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>NPORS, Banksman.
