Join a mission-driven team supporting adolescents in a structured, trauma-informed residential setting. Stevens Treatment Programs is currently hiring seasonal fill-in (relief) and part-time Residential Counselors for the summer months to work directly with youth in our Residential Education Program and Intensive Treatment Residence (ITR)&mdash;highly structured programs for adolescents with complex behavioral and emotional needs, many of whom have experienced trauma or other adverse life events.</p><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p><p><strong>Residential Counselors are hands-on caregivers, mentors, and role models. They:</strong></p><ul><li>Build meaningful, therapeutic relationships with youth</li><li>Support youth through their daily routines, including hygiene, meals, recreation, and bedtime</li><li>Help teach life skills, emotional regulation, and healthy peer interactions</li><li>Respond to crisis situations with professionalism, compassion, and teamwork</li><li>Participate in recreational activities, summer programming, and off-campus trips</li></ul><p><strong>Who We&rsquo;re Looking For</strong></p><p>We&rsquo;re seeking individuals who are:</p><ul><li>Patient, reliable, and calm under pressure</li><li>Committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable youth</li><li>Comfortable working in a structured, team-based environment</li><li>Available to work on a part-time or fill-in basis during the summer</li></ul><p><u><strong>Experience working with adolescents or in residential settings is required for the seasonal position.</strong></u><strong>&nbsp;We provide additional training.</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required</li><li>Must pass a background check (per EEC guidelines)</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and acceptable driving record</li><li>Willingness to obtain Safety-Care (provided by Stevens)</li></ul><p><strong>Pay &amp; Schedule</strong></p><ul><li><strong>$19.50&ndash;$21.50/hour</strong> based on experience, education, and schedule</li><li><strong>Additional $1.00/hour</strong> for demonstrated bilingual fluency in Spanish</li><li>Holiday pay available for eligible shifts</li><li>Part-time (32 hour) - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm; Wednesday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm</li><li>This temporary position is not eligible for most benefits.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Why Stevens?</strong></p><ul><li>No mandated or forced shifts</li><li>Supportive, team-based environment</li><li>Comprehensive training provided</li><li>Inclusive and mission-driven culture</li></ul><p>At Stevens, we value cultural humility and are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for staff, youth, and families.
