Your primary role is to provide excellent patient experiences while \"in the chair\", and overall patient retention.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Skills/ Abilities</strong></p>\n<p>·         Provide exceptional customer service, with excellent chair-side manner, while demonstrating teamwork</p>\n<p>·         Assist the doctor and/or hygienist(s), with dental procedures maintain excellent patient service, integrity, flow.</p>\n<p>·         Review patient charts prior to doctor arrival, document appropriate patient information and health history during the exam and treatment, ensure all patient consents are completed prior to treatment.</p>\n<p>·         Four Handed Dentistry- fabricate temporary crowns, place rubber dam, place amalgam and composite restorations, assist with seating permanent/removable prosthodontics, coronal polishing, sealant placement.</p>\n<p>·         Ability to take, develop and “mount” accurate, high quality radiographs/intra-oral photos.</p>\n<p>·         Clean, sterilize and prepare the equipment and operatory, prior to and after a patient’s appointment.</p>\n<p>·         Track the incoming and outgoing lab cases, monitor and order dental supplies.</p>\n<p>·         Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance, follow safety policies and procedures through OSHA compliance and BBP (Blood-borne Pathogens) Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment.</p>\n<p>·         Assist in educating the patients and address their questions and/or concerns to help them feel more comfortable.</p>\n<p>·         Assist the business administrative team in scheduling patients and submitting referrals as clinically necessary.</p>\n<p>·         Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> <strong>Education/Certification(s)</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required</li>\n <li>Current radiography certification required.</li>\n <li>Active Dental Assistant/ CDA/ EFDA/ EDDA/ QDA license, as required by state</li>\n <li>Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR- BLS) preferred</li>\n <li>Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred as required by state, or ability to become certified.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid Sick and Vacation Time</li>\n <li>8 Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance</li>\n <li>401(k) plan</li>\n <li>Company Paid Life Insurance</li>\n <li>Affordable Short- & Long-Term Disability Insurance</li>\n <li>Affordable Accidental and Critical Illness Insurance</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Referral Bonuses</li>\n <li>Total Rewards Program</li>\n <li>Annual Performance Reviews</li>\n <li>We Provide a Flexible Work Environment to Offer Work/Life Balance</li>\n</ul>",
