Description
Markon is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 3 to support the Fort Meade Customer. This role provides both systems engineering and project management support for end-to-end data flow solutions, enabling mission-critical data integration and transformation. This position focuses on requirements development, planning, and execution of data flows, including transformation into standardized data models, while working closely with customers and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
Provide systems engineering and project management support for end-to-end data flow development and implementation.
Elicit, refine, and manage requirements in coordination with customers and mission stakeholders.
Develop work breakdown structures, roadmaps, and schedules to support delivery of data flow capabilities.
Document system artifacts, requirements, and processes to support engineering and operational needs.
Support the design and implementation of data transformations into standardized data models.
Engage with internal and external customers to understand data requirements and mission needs.
Analyze and support data flow architectures and processing pipelines.
Collaborate within an Agile development environment to support delivery and integration efforts.
Provide technical insight into data collection, processing, and flow engineering activities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline plus 20 years of relevant experience.
Experience supporting systems engineering and/or project management activities.
Working knowledge of data collection, data processing, or data flow engineering.
Understanding of how data flows are developed, integrated, and operationalized.
Experience gathering and translating user requirements into technical solutions.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of National to Tactical integration, including data structures and relationships.
Salary Range USD $190,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
