We provide leading‐edge conveyor and sortation systems, voice and light‐directed order fulfillment equipment, controls and software, robotics, mezzanines, and structures.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you want to join a team of industry leading experts and who want to create an impact on the future of material handling solutions, we want to hear from you!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>The Powder Coat Loader Lead helps the supervisor manage the work of the team, including training new employees, acting as the department safety champion, performing departmental tasks as assigned by the supervisor, verifying proper hanging devices while maintaining an organized/accurate work area.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assisting in managing team members’ work in completion of tasks</li>\n <li>Verifying accuracy and quality</li>\n <li>Inspecting for damages or defects, records issues, and notifies supervisor</li>\n <li>Maintaining department database, prepares routine reports, and files records</li>\n <li>Operating department material handling equipment and assisting in routine equipment maintenance</li>\n <li>Following departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous improvement objectives, and safety rules</li>\n <li>Selecting proper hanging devices</li>\n <li>Using overhead crane to handle heavy parts</li>\n <li>Identifying parts related to work orders</li>\n <li>Occasionally drives forklift to move product</li>\n <li>Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience </li>\n <li>Experienced forklift truck operator</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong leadership skills</li>\n <li>Good computer skills</li>\n <li>Strong verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to read and write English and use basic math</li>\n <li>Strong organization skills</li>\n <li>Good time management skills</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and detail-oriented</li>\n <li>Team orientation</li>\n <li>Ability to read and follow work orders and numerical instructions</li>\n <li>Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ADA Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Heavy work:</strong> Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</li>\n <li><strong>Stooping:</strong> Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.</li>\n <li><strong>Crouching:</strong> Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.</li>\n <li><strong>Reaching:</strong> Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.</li>\n <li><strong>Standing:</strong> Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.</li>\n <li><strong>Walking:</strong> Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.</li>\n <li><strong>Pushing:</strong> Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.</li>\n <li><strong>Pulling:</strong> Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.</li>\n <li><strong>Lifting:</strong> Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to-position.
