    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>Title:</u></strong><strong>&nbsp;Distribution Center Operations Manager- Fulfillment</strong></p><p><strong><u>Location:</u></strong><strong>&nbsp;McDonough, GA (onsite)</strong></p><p><strong><u>Schedule:</u> &nbsp;1st Shift, Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm (with occasional overtime during peak season)</strong></p><p>The Operations Manager- Fulfillment is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fulfillment process, including order processing, picking, packing, and returns in a high-volume fulfillment warehouse. This role not only ensures accurate and timely processing of customer orders while meeting compliance and quality standards set by major retailers like Walmart and Amazon, but serves to maximize the efficiency of our operations and providing stellar people leadership through feedback, coaching, and performance management.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Leads in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.</li><li>Develop, lead, and implement strategic and tactical objectives supporting DC goals, budget, and customer service initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li>Troubleshoot operational issues and take corrective action to ensure standards, budgets, and service levels are met.&nbsp;</li><li>Implement best practices and performance standards to drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).&nbsp;</li><li>Provide leadership and maintain a department-wide team attitude environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Leverage data and resources to identify operational opportunities.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure effective cross-functional communication occurs to resolve issues and accomplish goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Modifies and communicates shifts in plans, goals, actions, or priorities to deal with changing situations and acts as a change agent.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicates developmental opportunities for direct reports in regard to training, performance management, employee motivation, and leadership skills.</li><li>Supervise, coach, and motivate a team, including full-time, and temporary staff, across multiple roles (e.g., pickers, packers, forklift operators).</li><li>Manage scheduling, attendance, and performance, addressing issues through coaching, performance improvement plans, or disciplinary actions as needed.</li><li>Enforce safety standards and OSHA regulations, conducting regular walkthroughs to identify and mitigate risks.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations.</li><li>Provide end-of-shift reports summarizing production, staffing, safety, and any issues encountered.</li><li>Communicate effectively with the General Manager and other managers/stakeholders to align priorities and resolve challenges.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>What You&rsquo;ll Bring:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience managing others in a high-volume distribution environment. Wholesale distribution experience is a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>Broad working knowledge of DC processes and operations. Thorough knowledge of RF Scanner and WMS systems functionality.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access). &nbsp;</li><li>Must be a self-starter and be able to successfully execute initiatives with some guidance and accomplish stated goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate a diverse workforce.</li><li>Must be able to work effectively as part of a leadership team.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to build relationships at various levels and influence decisions.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with heavy pick pack and e-commerce operations is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and best practices in warehouse operations.</li><li>Significant walking, bending, standing.&nbsp;</li><li>Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work a core 4 x 10 schedule Mon - Thurs, 6am - 4pm.</li><li>Availability to work night shifts during peak season, as well as weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary.</li></ul></div></div>\n<br/>Monday - Thursday, 6am-4pm<br/>Ability to work nights and/or weekends during peak season",
