With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Conformity Coordinator to join our Airworthiness Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Airworthiness Team in ensuring the compliance aspects of the aircraft are completed, contributing to the overall airworthiness of our fleet. This position will work hand in hand with multi-disciplinary teams, including manufacturing and quality, to assure the aircraft meets the standards required for conformity and maintain configuration during the aircraft’s build and flight testing.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Conformity Coordinator will work with the Conformity Coordinator Lead and will help ensure the aircraft achieves its airworthiness expectations, aircraft configuration control, and maintains conformity.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conformity Inspections: Track conformed units and installations on the flight test aircraft. Provide feedback, support, and continuous improvement to the process at the manufacturing facility.</li>\n <li>Deviation Disposition: Remain cognizant of aircraft deviations or non-conformances; document, escalate, and support disposition of findings in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Airworthiness: Work with the DAR and provide required documentation to support obtaining airworthiness tickets</li>\n <li>Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of conformity and configuration maintenance activities.</li>\n <li>Working closely with other company departments, primarily manufacturing, quality, airworthiness, and configuration management, to ensure that the airplane configuration and conformity meet the requirements for program objectives</li>\n <li>Resolve issues on the manufacturing floor related to aircraft configuration and conformity</li>\n <li>Provide guidance to manufacturing and quality team members related to configuration control and conformity</li>\n <li>Point of contact at the airplane in support of certification and TIA test flights</li>\n <li>Identify and resolve issues collaboratively with manufacturing, quality, and airworthiness teams</li>\n <li>Create reports and metrics as required to track conformity status and program progress</li>\n <li>May require occasional travel.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in an aviation-related field, with a focus on quality assurance, manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering.</li>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical discipline; Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering preferred</li>\n <li>Familiarity with aircraft conformity processes is highly desirable.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Type Certification, especially Part 23 or 27 experience preferred</li>\n <li>Familiar with aviation manufacturing and inspection processes</li>\n <li>Problem solving, communication, coordination, and technical writing skills </li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills and highly detail-oriented </li>\n <li>Able to effectively work on multiple projects at once</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory documents.</li>\n <li>Proficient in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Further education or certifications in aviation maintenance, quality, or related technical fields are a plus.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 23, 25, 27, and 29 regulations, policy, and guidance material</li>\n <li>Knowledge of ASTM, RTCA, and SAE standards</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of operations, pilot licensing, and mechanic licensing regulations and certification processes </li>\n <li>Familiar with Dassault, Atlassian, and Polarian software tools  </li>\n <li>Pilot experience or other experience with aircraft flight operations</li>\n <li>Familiar with Smartsheets </li>\n <li>Familiar with JIRA</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<p>Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
