SKIMS is seeking a detail-oriented and employee-focused Benefits and Leave of Absence Administrator to support and manage all aspects of employee leave programs and benefits administration. This role will serve as a key resource for employees and managers by ensuring compliance with federal and state leave laws, company policies, and benefits processes while delivering a seamless and supportive employee experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, maintains confidentiality, and has strong knowledge of leave administration and benefits practices. Administer and manage a wide range of employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, CFRA, state-specific leaves, parental leave, military leave, personal leave, and other protected absences. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and HR Business Partners regarding leave of absence and benefits-related inquiries. Evaluate employee eligibility for leave programs in accordance with federal and state regulations, company policies, and individual circumstances. Manage a high-volume caseload of leave requests, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of applications, extensions, accommodations, and return-to-work documentation. Coordinate with employees, healthcare providers, legal counsel, and third-party administrators to obtain required documentation and medical certifications. Review and assess complex leave and accommodation cases, including intermittent leaves, concurrent leaves, and ADA accommodations, ensuring consistency and compliance in decision-making. Partner with HR leadership and legal teams to develop, update, and communicate leave of absence and benefits policies and procedures. Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on leave policies, benefits programs, and compliance best practices. Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee leave and benefits records. Generate reports and analyze leave utilization, trends, and compliance metrics to support HR leadership and business needs. Support benefits administration processes, including employee enrollments, life event changes, open enrollment, and benefits-related employee support. Assist with additional HR projects and responsibilities as assigned.
