    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>You belong at Day &amp; Ross.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Driver Recruitment Program Lead&nbsp;</p><p>Full-Time&nbsp;</p><p>Canada (Remote)&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The Driver Recruitment Program Lead/Specialist is to develop recruitment programs to attract and fulfill the business needs for Owner Operators and Company Drivers.&nbsp; This role will also be responsible to recruit, process, and fill positions within the department.&nbsp;</p><p>The Driver Recruitment Program Lead/Specialist will create training modules and programs for all new hires within the Recruiting Department.&nbsp;</p><p>This role will also be responsible for enhancing the recruiting, selection and onboarding experiences for new drivers.&nbsp; In this role, you will be required to evaluate areas of concern and provide solutions to these challenges.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>How You'll Help:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Lead full cycle recruitment for all driver roles; meet department targets.</li><li>Review pipelines, funnel, and provide detailed reports.&nbsp; Identify any bottlenecks and provide solutions.</li><li>Monitor the use, adoption, effectiveness, and compliance of Recruiting department processes, policies, and programs and make recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Provide weekly reporting for updates to key stakeholders for all projects related to Company Drivers.</li><li>Establish relationships with applicable leaders of Company Driver programs as well as designated Driver Training Schools to build talent pipelines for future requirements.</li><li>Collect Industry compensation packages, best practices, etc.&nbsp; Benchmarking against peers or industry best practices is essential for maintaining competitive advantage.</li><li>Partner with Operations team members to determine the future business needs to promote success for company driver programs.</li><li>Ensure our onboarding programs create an inclusive environment for people to thrive.</li><li>Develop training programs for all internal Recruiting Department hires to ensure success in their new roles.</li><li>Lead the design and implementation of consistent and leading edge acquisition programs, policies, and procedures for Day &amp; Ross Inc.</li><li>Participate in Recruiting Department career fairs, truck shows, etc. across Canada.</li><li>Act as the subject matter expert on recruiting processes and policies</li><li>Other duties/responsibilities as required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Your Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Minimum of secondary education, with preference of post-secondary education (general stream), or a combination of education and experience.</li><li>1-2 years of experience in full cycle recruiting.</li><li>Previous Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation would be beneficial.</li><li>Minimum 2 years in Driver Recruitment role.</li><li>Minimum 3 years administration or clerical duties in the Transportation Industry.</li><li>Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Must be data driven and adaptive.</li><li>Computer skills – MUST be subject matter expert with Applicant Tracking System.</li><li>Resourceful – ability to think outside of the box to find suitable candidates for hard to fill positions.</li><li>Demonstrated customer relationship management skills.</li><li>Strong conflict resolution skills.</li><li>Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.</li><li>Ability to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleagues.</li><li>Results focused.</li><li>Ability to influence without authority and work with client groups across levels.</li><li>Superior Time Management Skills.</li><li>Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>To apply, visit our Careers page at <strong>dayross.com.</strong><br><br>If you’re chosen for the role, you’ll be asked to provide reference and criminal background checks before employment.
