    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Control Systems Inc | Commercial Fire Alarm & Low Voltage Systems</p>\n<p>Control Systems Inc is seeking an experienced<strong> Fire Alarm Service Technician</strong> to join our growing life safety team. This role focuses on inspection, testing, troubleshooting, programming, and repair of commercial fire alarm and low-voltage systems.</p>\n<p>We are looking for technicians with strong fire alarm service experience, preferably those with NICET certification or technicians working toward NICET certification. Candidates must hold or be able to obtain FASA/BASA certification.</p>\n<p>This position works directly with customers, contractors, and our internal project team to ensure life safety systems remain compliant, reliable, and fully operational.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA codes and local regulations</p></li>\n <li><p>Respond to scheduled service calls and emergency service requests</p></li>\n <li><p>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fire alarm and low-voltage system issues</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform programming and system configuration for fire alarm systems when required</p></li>\n <li><p>Inspect and service life safety and integrated low-voltage systems</p></li>\n <li><p>Research and evaluate multiple solutions to resolve system issues efficiently</p></li>\n <li><p>Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, submittals, and product manuals</p></li>\n <li><p>Coordinate with general contractors, building engineers, and facility managers</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide professional on-site customer support and technical guidance</p></li>\n <li><p>Communicate service updates and system status to management</p></li>\n <li><p>Complete inspection reports, service documentation, and required company paperwork</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure work complies with NFPA, AHJ, and manufacturer requirements</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>FASA/BASA certification required</p></li>\n <li><p>NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred (Level I–III) or willingness to pursue NICET certification</p></li>\n <li><p>Minimum 3+ years of experience servicing commercial fire alarm or low-voltage systems</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to program or configure fire alarm systems</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience reading construction drawings, schematics, and system documentation</p></li>\n <li><p>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record</p></li>\n <li><p>Must pass required background and motor vehicle record screening</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong communication and customer service skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls</p></li>\n <li><p>Reliable attendance and strong time management</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong>: </p>\n<p>· Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing a ladder, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. </p>\n<p>· Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools as required and lifting to 75lbs. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>You’ll Benefit from:</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Unlimited Growth Opportunity</strong>: With a constantly expanding range of products and vertical markets, we consistently experience double-digit growth, creating new avenues for advancement and promotion within our company. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Comprehensive Benefits Package</strong>: Our benefits package is here to support you and your well-being.
