The role will be responsible to manage, maintain, support and plan the equipment repairs and maintenance that are required to achieve equipment availability and costing standards. Our people are what make North American Construction Group an industry leader, it’s our people that keep our expansive fleet of equipment running and it's our people that keep our job sites safe.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>What’s In It for You?</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority, and we live it 3-6-5!</li>\n <li>Market aligned salary</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage including dental, vision and life insurance</li>\n <li>401K matching program</li>\n <li>Paid vacation and personal time</li>\n <li>Relocation package for the right candidate</li>\n <li>Social culture and employee events</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>What You’ll Be Doing</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Build and develop effective teams that will provide the support to manage and maintain the equipment fleets in a safe, effective and cost efficient manner that meets all government and company regulations and standards</li>\n <li>Has overall responsibility to manage the site equipment maintenance functions</li>\n <li>Implements and enforces the JDE equipment management tools such as the work order to effectively capture and build accurate data for historical analysis and reliability trending. </li>\n <li>Sets goals and targets that are effective in reducing equipment costs and increases equipment availabilities.  </li>\n <li>Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and updates to the Equipment manager and/or General manager</li>\n <li>Ensures safety is the number one priority of the work that is being done by employees, maintains all standards set out by the company and/or government regulations that are needed to accomplish goals and objectives laid out as per company requirements</li>\n <li>Works closely with HR team to find, develop the necessary staff and hourly personnel needed for efficient operation of the site maintenance </li>\n <li>Responsible to manage/control/ report on costs for his area and provide detailed understanding of his BU costs on a monthly basis</li>\n <li>Participates in maintenance strategy meetings to help identify and improve maintenance efficiency and functionality</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Technical or university education related to heavy equipment maintenance preferably related to a mining environment with dragline and shovel operations</li>\n <li>10 years maintenance supervisor experience,</li>\n <li>5 years maintenance superintendent or manager experience</li>\n <li>Progressive levels of management responsibility in a Heavy construction or Mining environment</li>\n <li>Related training for supervision, planning, CMMS systems and costing for maintenance fleet management</li>\n <li>MSHA certification and training</li>\n <li>Planning background</li>\n <li>Strong people skills and ability to demonstrate leadership skill set</li>\n <li>Strong administration skill set</li>\n <li>Strong problem solving skill set</li>\n <li>Effective computer skills which includes use and understanding of CMMS systems like JDE, Microsoft office, excel, word and project management</li>\n <li>Proven cost and equipment analysis management </li>\n <li>Strong safety background </li>\n <li>Proven strong leadership ability </li>\n <li>Proven track record in people and equipment management</li>\n <li>Strong technical background and understanding of heavy equipment maintenance related to draglines, shovels and rolling stock in a mining environment </li>\n <li>Positive attitude with strong people skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Summary</h2>\n<p><strong><u>What’s Next</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>After you send us your resume, our Recruitment team will work with the hiring division to determine candidates we’d like to meet with.
