We can't sponsor H1B.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 18px\">Arcetyp LLC is looking for a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Clinical Laboratory Technician</span> to support the Government in Japan. This will be an on-site, in-office position with one position located in Iwakuni<span> Japan and one in Yokosuka Japan.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">POSITION DUTIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Perform clinical laboratory tests in any one or a combination of areas as described in following sections of the laboratory: hematology, </span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">chemistry, urinalysis, serology, microbiology and blood bank.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Calculate test results and measure prescribed quantities of samples during tests.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Notice pertinent details of specimens under microscopic study.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Perform a wide variety of laboratory tests either manually or using automated instrumentation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Evaluate information against measurable criteria in the performance of laboratory tests.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Perform precise and accurate laboratory testing according to established laboratory procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Receive written requisitions from health care providers for routine and special laboratory tests.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Set up and adjust laboratory equipment and apparatus.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Obtain laboratory specimens directly from patients by venipuncture.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Add reagents or indicator solutions, and subject specimens to various laboratory operations according to established procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Prepare slides for microscopic analysis as necessary.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Observe test reactions, changes of color, or formation of precipitates; studies or subjects treated specimens to automatic analyzing </span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">equipment to make qualitative and quantitative analysis.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Record test results to flat logs and request slips and file reports in the CHCS/AHLTA.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Prepare specimens for transport to MTF laboratory or for mail out.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Prepare biological waste for proper disposal.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Participate/perform the prescribed Quality Control (QC)/College of American Pathology (CAP) programs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Comply with the standards of The Joint Commission, applicable provisions of law, and the rules and regulations of any and all </span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">governmental authorities pertaining to licensure and regulation of health care personnel and medical treatment facilities, the </span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">regulations and standards of medical practice and the MTF’s medical staff bylaws.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Provide training and/or direction as applicable to supporting government employees (e.g., hospital corpsmen, students, etc.).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Operate and manipulate automated systems such as CHCS, AHLTA, ADS, Essentris, and Clinical Information System (CIS), participate in </span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">clinical staff Performance Improvement (PI) and Risk Management (RM) functions, as prescribed by the Commander.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The HealthCare Worker (HCW) shall comply with the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) privacy and security </span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">policies of the treatment facility. Providers shall obtain/maintain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) in accordance with DOD and MTF</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">policy/instruction, as applicable. <a href=\"https://nppes.cms.hhs.gov/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https://nppes.cms.hhs.gov/</a></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Maintain documentation of all treatment provided in accordance with clinic directives and prepare such records and reports as may be </span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">required. All records and reports must be legible. Abbreviations must be only those listed in local instructions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Adhere to and comply with the Department of the Navy, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, and local instructions and notices in effect </span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">during the term of the contract.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Practice aseptic techniques as necessary; comply with infection control guidelines to include the proper handling, storage, and disposal </span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">of infectious wastes, and the use of universal precautions to prevent the spread of infection.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">POSITION REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Function with an awareness and application of safety procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Apply an awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care and strive to manage situations in a reduced risk manner.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Exercise awareness and sensitivity to patient/significant others' rights, as identified within the MTF.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Exercise appropriate delegation of tasks and duties in the direction and coordination of health care team members, patient care, and</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">clinic activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Be able to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, Department of Defense, Department of Navy, Bureau of Medicine </span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">and Surgery, and MTF instructions and policies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Possess and maintain one of the following: A current certification and registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (MLT-ASCP); OR current certification and registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician by the American<br>Medical Technologists (MLT-AMT).</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">HCW shall be in good standing and under no sanction or suspension by the Federal Government.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Possess and maintain current certification in either the American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Course.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently and maintain good communication skills with patients and other health care personnel.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Ability to pass all background/suitability checks.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">A valid driver’s license: ability to travel locally as needed. </span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Min.
