    "description_html": "<p>Omega is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler who will be responsible for assembling electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies and finished products according to quality specifications and process procedures.</p><ul><li>Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use personal protective equipment.</li><li>Ability to learn and participate in lean manufacturing training and work environment.</li><li>Reads, interprets, and works from drawings, blueprints, schematics, work orders, wiring diagrams, product samples and written or verbal instructions with limited supervision to determine assembly duties and materials requirements, and selects components such as transistors, resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits.</li><li>Inspects, tests, and adjusts completed units to meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.</li><li>Assembles electronic/mechanical products, systems or support structures and installs components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using small hand tools and soldering equipment.</li><li>Cleans parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.</li><li>May perform assembly and/or soldering operations under microscope or other magnifying device.</li><li>Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device, and prepares soldering surfaces.</li><li>Use equipment including, but not limited to: power supplies, multimeters, leak detection/vacuum systems, pressure generators, volt meters, ohmmeters, ovens, soldering equipment, microscopes &amp; precision hand tools.</li><li>Aligns and clamps parts together, or positions items in fixtures, jigs, or other holding devices as required.</li><li>Measures parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.</li><li>Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or route and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.</li><li>Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies.</li><li>Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.</li><li>Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping and etching parts and assemblies.</li><li>Performs trimming, preparation and application of components including but not limited to wire, cables, connectors, and resistors using solder and various adhesives as specified by prints and procedural documents.</li><li>Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electronic component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.</li><li>Performs go/not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet quality, performance, and production specifications and standards.</li><li>Creates documentation for process improvement (Engineering Change Request, ECR).</li><li>Confers with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.</li><li>Produces parts/products efficiently with a minimum of waste and rework.</li><li>Escalates equipment and production constraints to lead personnel—utilizing Lean Daily Management system</li></ul>",
