    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Title:       </span></p>\n<p>IT Infrastructure Engineer – Junior</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary:</span></p>\n<p><em>This position may support on-site or, hybrid operations depending on contract requirements. Occasional after-hours support may be required during maintenance windows, outages, or infrastructure deployments.</em></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Assist with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of physical and virtual servers. </em></li>\n<li><em>Support day-to-day IT infrastructure operations including system health checks, patching, and performance monitoring. </em></li>\n<li><em>Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues under the guidance of senior engineers. </em></li>\n<li><em>Support Active Directory administration, account management, and group policy implementation. </em></li>\n<li><em>Assist with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure data protection and system resiliency. </em></li>\n<li><em>Monitor infrastructure alerts and respond to operational incidents and service requests. </em></li>\n<li><em>Support virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or comparable platforms. </em></li>\n<li><em>Assist with cloud infrastructure administration in environments such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS). </em></li>\n<li><em>Maintain infrastructure documentation, system inventories, diagrams, and standard operating procedures. </em></li>\n<li><em>Support cybersecurity and compliance initiatives by implementing approved security controls and remediation activities. </em></li>\n<li><em>Coordinate with network, cybersecurity, and application teams to support integrated enterprise solutions. </em></li>\n<li><em>Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh projects.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Skills/Abilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Comptia Security Plus or 8570 equivalent </em></li>\n<li><em>Secret Clearance</em></li>\n<li><em>Basic understanding of Windows and/or Linux server administration.</em></li>\n<li><em>Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.</em></li>\n<li><em>Experience with Microsoft 365 administration </em></li>\n<li><em>Understanding of virtualization and cloud computing concepts.</em></li>\n<li><em>Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.</em></li>\n<li><em>Ability to work independently and within a team environment.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desired Skills/Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Knowledgeable of SIPR and NIPR networks</em></li>\n<li><em>Previous military experience</em></li>\n<li><em>Familiar with secure areas like SCIFs</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Education:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.</em></li>\n<li><em>0–3 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure or enterprise systems.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Stipulations:</span></p>\n<p><em>Able to dedicate 8 hours between 0700 and 1600 EST. </em></p>\n<p><em>Obtain and keep a secret level clearance </em></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><em>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</em></p>\n<p><em>Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. </em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em> </em></p>",
