Reporting to the Near Surface Mine Operations Supervisor, you will be part of the Near Surface Mine Operations Department. You will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This position is a support role to mining and part of the team UG including Services, Construction, Development & Production. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Completed & ongoing competence with required core modules: Operating grader equipment to fine grade, spread and push aggregate materials; Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment; Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the grader; Operate the grader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner; Operate other heavy equipment and other logistics related duties as required; Demonstrate competence in relevant UG Hard rock common core; Housekeeping – keep work areas clean free from hazards; Communication – listen to and communicate with others, keep accurate records on 5-point card, aligning with daily tasks; Teamwork – work with others to meet and where possible exceed daily KPI’s set by Sup ervisor .
