          "text": "<p>As a Finishing Operator, you may be responsible for functions occurring within the Finishing operations that include packing, core cutting, and material handling, operating a slitter, or floating between any of these listed positions.&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p><strong>SHIFT:</strong>&#xa0;&#xa0;10pm-6am M-F</p><p><strong>Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Activities and duties may vary depending upon site-specific needs. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to supporting the following:&#xa0;</p><p>Packer/Material Handling/Core Cutter and Rewinder Operator</p><ul><li>Inspect general appearance of finished product</li><li>Keep area supplied with necessary packaging materials</li><li>Prepare cores for machine operators</li><li>Perform duties to continuously improve quality and productivity</li><li>Perform 5S duties and audits</li><li>Assist in equipment maintenance activities as directed</li><li>Participate in group problem-solving teams and continuous improvement activities</li><li>Sort, label, and package finished goods for shipment per customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practices</li><li>Inspect general appearance of finished product</li><li>Keep area supplied with necessary packaging materials</li><li>Communicate and coordinate necessary information to appropriate shift/department personnel to ensure effective operations</li><li>Track multiple orders being packed at one time.</li><li>Perform duties to continuously improve quality and productivity</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe work area</li><li>Perform 5S duties and audits</li><li>Assist in equipment maintenance activities as directed</li><li>Participate in group problem-solving teams and continuous improvement activities</li><li>Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor</li><li>Print slitting diagrams</li><li>Cut 3\" and 6\" Cores for all Slitters</li><li>Retrieve, Replenish &amp; Deliver Core</li><li>Check Cores for Accuracy, Quality of Cuts &amp; Adequate Quantity for Productions</li><li>Dump blue bins at the end of the shift and when necessary</li><li>Dump recyclables daily</li><li>Perform Forklift Inspection</li><li>Trim Compactor Controls &amp; Operational Procedures</li><li>Move material to/from raw, WIP, Finishing, Shipping, Receiving and manufacturing areas.</li><li>Complete appropriate transactions to document the movement of material within the Inventory Management System.</li><li>Support inventory accuracy: Complete warehouse and departmental cycle counts and correct discrepancies. Help manage winding drum and rack inventories.</li><li>Raw/Finishing warehouse: Pick up and transfer material racks, pallets and other consumable supplies to/from production areas, as required.</li><li>Condense warehouse space and maintain good housekeeping.</li><li>Perform all assignments, duties and tasks in a safe manner following standard procedures and practices. Encourage others to do so. Correct and/or report all unsafe conditions immediately.</li><li>Perform duties to continuously improve quality and productivity.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean work area.</li></ul>",
