At UnityPoint Health, <strong>you </strong>matter. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Established team of 33 physicians and 13 Advanced Practitioners </li>\n <li>Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff</li>\n <li>PRN – 10-12 hours shifts\n  <ul>\n   <li>Day, swing and night shifts available</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Closed ICU</li>\n <li>Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Average of 15-18 patients per day; no nights or weekends </li>\n <li>Dedicated admitters and dedicated hospitalist nursing staff</li>\n <li>No procedures and no codes</li>\n <li>Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment</li>\n <li>Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>MD or DO</li>\n <li>Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine </li>\n <li>Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of IA</li>\n <li>Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice</li>\n <li>Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>We offer</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive hourly rates</li>\n <li>A culture guided by uncompromising values and unwavering belief in doing what’s right for the people we serve.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Community Details</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Des Moines</strong></p>\n<p>Greater Des Moines (DSM) is a community that invests in itself, that is powered by multi-national corporations and also supports small, locally owned businesses.
