Description
The Electrical Engineer provides technical expertise in the design, analysis, integration, testing, and sustainment of electrical and electronic systems supporting government protective and investigative missions. The engineer develops and reviews electrical designs, schematics, power distribution systems, and system integration plans to ensure reliability, safety, and operational effectiveness in mission-critical environments. This role supports both new system development and modernization efforts, ensuring compliance with applicable federal standards, codes, and government technical requirements.
This position is pending contract award.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active Secret Clearance
Responsibilities
Translate high-level mission needs into measurable system performance objectives, operational concepts, and data-driven insights
Assess current and potential future system performance, identify gaps, and recommend optimizations
Develop and maintain operational documentation (CONOPS, TTPs)
Install systems and demonstrate operability
Provide training materials and support deployment
Conduct mission and system analyses, technology surveys, and trade studies
Attend/support live and simulated test and evaluation events
Acquire and evaluate emerging drone technologies
Implement mission-focused analytics using operational data
Collaborate with government stakeholders and developers
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in respective engineering discipline required
Academic background in RF, digital systems, or electronic warfare preferred
ABET accreditation may be accepted as substitute for professional experience
Through understanding and substantial experience in radio frequencies, sensor integration, ans spectrum analysis
