We are committed to supporting your success in both your professional and personal lives.</p>\n<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p>Join us in our support to the US Space Force (HQ USSF) Commercial Satellite Communication (COMSATCOM) Office (CSCO), where you will help shape the future of assured, resilient SATCOM for our warfighters and mission partners. As a key member of a highly collaborative, mission-focused team, you will apply your expertise to help deliver innovative commercial SATCOM capabilities, integrate a transformative COMSATCOM business model into the broader SATCOM enterprise, and translate complex operational needs into effective, affordable solutions. In this role, you will work directly with COMSATCOM customers and stakeholders, providing trusted guidance, insightful analysis, and clear recommendations that drive real-world impact in a rapidly evolving space domain. Job duties include:</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Collect COMSATCOM usage data and inventory of capabilities (e.g., transponder capacity, frequencies, etc., including Government Furnished Information (GFI) and non-GFI sources.</li>\n <li>Analyze COMSATCOM usage to develop usage trends, forecasts, and produce reports.</li>\n <li>Maintain awareness on global, regional, and situational trends to identify potential COMSATCOM usage needs.</li>\n <li>Create easy-to-read and visually appealing reports to provide updates to United States Space Force (USSF) CSCO leadership and quickly respond to external data calls.</li>\n <li>Develop DoD COMSATCOM forecasts of potential usage demand.</li>\n <li>Pull data from various systems in a multitude of formats.</li>\n <li>Develop metrics and reports and present findings to senior-level stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Apply basic descriptive statistical tools to data sets to ensure stakeholders understand data quality and statistical significance for decision-making.</li>\n <li>Support analytic studies by COMSATCOM Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) including cost, courses of action comparisons, business case analyses, market research, and commercial capability assessments.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with USSF program offices, operators, engineers, financial managers, and commercial providers.</li>\n <li>Perform data entry into variety of database formats (e.g., SharePoint, Excel, and others).</li>\n <li>Respond to ad hoc analytic taskings from senior leadership with speed, accuracy, and traceability.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, operations research, economics, engineering, mathematics, and/or statistics.</li>\n <li>Secret Clearance required. #qinetiqclearedjob</li>\n <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.</li>\n <li>Skilled in Microsoft Office software.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written executive level communication.</li>\n <li>Deadline driven, fast paced, organized and detail oriented.</li>\n <li>Possess excellent organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to support on-site client meetings within the National Capital Region.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in associated field.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting USG/USSF/Department of War (DoW) space programs, particularly performing data analysis.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with USG/DoW acquisition processes and analytic rigor standards.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience in Python or PowerBI.</li>\n <li>Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Experience with business models, billing processes, and existing data analysis tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Transparency</h2>\n<p>The salary range for this role is $75,000- $125,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
