You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience. </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>At Dillon, we operate as one team. The successful candidate can be based at any one of our following offices: Saint John, New Brunswick</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer flexible work hours to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Project Coordination, Design and Drafting   </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings (CADD design) of municipal infrastructure related to water supply, sewers, roads, land development site servicing and drainage. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including engineers, planners, and technical and administrative support staff. </li>\n <li>Assist with fieldwork to provide construction observation, monitoring and data collection activities. </li>\n <li>Ensure quality control of design and production drawing work. </li>\n <li>Business travel upon request. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Learning & Development</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development. </li>\n <li>Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hold a diploma in  Civil  Engineering Technology and Valid Registration as a Civil  Engineering Technologist (CET) or Certified Technician (CTech) in the province of New Brunswick. </li>\n <li>0-3 years of industry experience, preferably in consulting engineering and/or municipal environments.<strong>  </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Practical  experience  in  functional  and  detailed  design  drawings  of  various  civil,  and municipal infrastructure projects including roads, sewers, watermains and drainage works.</li>\n <li>Exhibit knowledge in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software. </li>\n <li>Understanding of project design and implementation activities including development of  design  drawings  and  reports,  contract  document  preparation,  tendering,  and  contract  administration. </li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, including  the ability work in a team environment.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why choose Dillon</strong></p>\n<p>Dillon is powered by people who are technically proficient, passionate about socially important projects, and motivated to deliver superior, tangible results.
