At American Career College, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and passion with the next generation of Medical Assistant.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>You will make an impact by: </strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Delivering class instruction according to an approved curriculum using accepted and effective teaching methods.</li>\n <li>Developing daily lesson plans; advising, remediating, and tutoring students; maintaining current and accurate attendance and grade records; remaining current in applicable program teaching field.</li>\n <li>Participating in faculty meetings, professional growth activities in the respective field and two (2) in-service training sessions annually.</li>\n <li>Participating in college activities such as in-services, faculty meetings, student functions, graduation exercises, open houses, new student orientations, and advisory board meetings.</li>\n <li>Striving for student success by providing quality instruction that results in students’ achievement of academic goals and program requirements, retention of students, and preparation for entry-level positions in the healthcare field. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Your Experience Includes:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Three (3) years of occupational (i.e. practical) experience in the subject field in which they teach.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>One (1) year of teaching experience in the subject areas taught or demonstrate prior training in instructional methodology and teaching skills from a formal teacher educational program or any comparable training program or formal in-house training program.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Graduate or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Must be a graduate from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the specialty field or the subject area in which they teach.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses/Certifications: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) or other medical assistant credential issued by AAMA accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or AMT accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) required by local, state and/or federal laws or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire date.</li>\n <li>Current CPR Card.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>CA Salary Range</h2>USD $53,980.24 - USD $72,884.86 /Yr.\n<h2>Bonus Eligible</h2>No\n<h2>ACC Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Do you want a career that allows you to make a difference in other people’s lives?
