    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></span></p>\n<p><span>To perform routine checks, tests, gauging and instrument inspections of materials, goods in process and finished goods. Separation of acceptable and unacceptable product.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong><u>Essential Functions</u></strong></span></p>\n<p><span>-Collect IBC’s from the production lines in accordance with test schedules, and compares results with company standards</span></p>\n<p><span>-Makes recommendations to Quality Manager and Production regarding observations and findings</span></p>\n<p><span>-Record test information accurately, on the computer and in neatly written shift reports</span></p>\n<p><span>-Work closely with PTLs, operators and production supervisors to advise when adjustments are needed.</span></p>\n<p><span>-Does testing to verify quality. Notifies supervisor when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or when major incidents of poor quality are noted.</span></p>\n<p><span>-Must become familiar with operation of all test equipment used in QC tech duties</span></p>\n<p><span>-Must become familiar with and follow escalation rules and documentation of problems</span></p>\n<p><span>-Executes shift handover through interface with production and next shift QC. Neat complete Shift Handover report is essential.</span></p>\n<p><span>-Follows procedures for containments and placing defective IBC’s on HOLD</span></p>\n<p><span>-Aids in the planning, promotion and organizing of training activities related to product quality and reliability.</span></p>\n<p><span>-Works as a good team member with other QC techs in the department</span></p>\n<p><span>-Perform various external and inter plant quality and service-related issues as needed.</span></p>\n<p><span>-May be required to assist with testing on samples and special situations</span></p>\n<p><span>-Must perform all duties in the department in a safe manner and consistent with all company safety rules</span></p>\n<p><span>-Aid in the investigation of customer complaints.</span></p>\n<p><span>-Conduct UN performance testing, completing appropriate documentation and maintain records to satisfy contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements.</span></p>\n<p><span>-Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection to verify process and product quality.</span></p>\n<p><span>-Develops and demonstrates a knowledge and understanding of established quality policy, procedures and instructions.</span></p>\n<p><span>-Makes recommendations on disposition of questionable product to supervisor.</span></p>\n<p><span>-Various other duties and special projects as assigned.</span></p>\n<p><span>-Provide backup support for SHEQ manager</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong><u>Job Qualifications</u></strong></span></p>\n<p><span>- High school graduate or equivalent.</span></p>\n<p><span>- 2 years related trade school training; or equivalent of education and experience in similar environment</span></p>\n<p><span>- Use and understanding of precision measuring instruments and gauges, specifications, charts and diagrams.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>-Ability to accurately read measuring devices, blueprints, product specifications and test procedures.</span></p>\n<p><span>- Ability to lift 55 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>- Good hand/eye coordination and motor skills.</span></p>\n<p><span>- Must be dependable, reliable and responsible enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly.</span></p>\n<p><span>- Must be able to read, write and speak English.</span></p>\n<p><span>- Ability to operate a Forklift in a safe manner, or ability and willingness to learn.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>- Computer skills are required; familiarity with windows and Microsoft office suite&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>- Strong communication skills</span></p>\n<p><span>- Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></span></p>\n<p><span>- Ability to lift 55 lbs overhead.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>- Requires good hand/eye/foot coordination and motor skills.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>- Must be able to stand, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel and/or crouch for extended periods of time.</span></p>\n<p><span>- While performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.&nbsp; The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.</span></p>\n<p><span>- Vision:&nbsp; 20/20 corrected and normal hearing range.</span></p>",
