    "description": "<p>Summary: Enhances and improves the SRIM experience specifically in Heartful Care for our<br />\nresidents and their families, demonstrates and promotes SRIM’s core value of the Golden Rule<br />\naccepts management responsibilities of the Nursing Department in absence of the director of<br />\nresident services, and assists in managing the care of all residents by performing the following<br />\nduties.</p>\n\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<br />\n1. Demonstrates excellent decision-making skills and can understand the impact of those<br />\ndecisions.*<br />\n2. Sets and manages priorities.*<br />\n3. Accepts calls from staff during nights and weekend.*<br />\n4. Conducts meetings/training as required/requested.*<br />\n5. Communicates in a clear, accurate and timely manner.*<br />\n6. Assists in reviewing new associate applications, checks references, interviews applicants<br />\nfor the best possible hire.*<br />\n7. Assists in monitoring the associates’ work and performance.*<br />\n8. Assists in coaching/counseling associates in a respectful manner.*<br />\n9. Assists in completing the associate performance evaluations in accordance with<br />\nestablished policy.*<br />\n10. Assists in monitoring expenditures weekly to ensure compliance with department<br />\nbudgeted monthly amounts.*<br />\n11. Assists in scheduling associates based upon budgeted FTE's and prepares assignments<br />\nto ensure efficiency.*<br />\n12. Provides “hands on” care on an as needed basis to meet the needs of the residents.*<br />\n13. Assists in performing evaluation for residents to determine level of care and services.*<br />\n*Essential Function<br />\n14. Participates in monthly ECC &amp; LNS meeting with Director of Resident Services and<br />\nCorporate Director of Nursing.*<br />\n15. Ensures medication orders are accurate on the MORS.*<br />\n16. Assists in reviewing and investigating all incidents reports and recommends appropriate<br />\naction/follow up to the Executive Director.*<br />\n17. Understands and adheres to the ALF regulations pertaining to assisted living health care<br />\nlaws.*<br />\n18. Maintains a safe and secure working environment free of objects/situations that could<br />\ncause harm and/or falls to residents, families, visitors, and associates.*<br />\n19. Practices good body mechanics and safe working habits.*<br />\n20. Knows, understands, and follows established policy and procedures in emergency<br />\nsituations.*<br />\n21. Is considered essential personnel especially during emergencies.*<br />\n22. Wears clean and appropriate dress per established policy.*<br />\n23. Understands and complies with HIPAA regulations.*<br />\n24. Takes initiative in work, seeks out additional information and offers solutions/suggestions.<br />\n25. Willingly takes on special projects or assignments outside of regular duties.<br />\n26. Performs all other reasonable duties as assigned or as requested.</p>\n\n<p>Supervisory Responsibilities:<br />\nDirectly supervises employees in the Resident Services and Nursing Departments.
