We are changing the paradigm for treating diseases such as prostate cancer by using real-time MR Imaging, thermal ultrasound and close-loop temperature feedback control, to gently ablate the diseased tissue with minimal side effects.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you share our values and want to work in a collaborative results-focused culture and want to make a profound impact in healthcare and your career, here is your chance.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">General Accountability<br></span></p>\n<p>The Quality Engineer is responsible for overseeing Quality Improvements across Manufacturing and R&amp;D to ensure product quality and consistency, improve efficiency, and drive value throughout the business.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Quality Engineer helps to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance to the Profound QMS, relevant regulations and standards.<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to a positive work culture and foster a high-performance team environment.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify areas of improvement and implement quality improvements.</li>\n<li>Investigate Complaints, Returned products &amp; Non- Conformities</li>\n<li>Improve In-Process and Incoming Inspection testing</li>\n<li>Work with the Manufacturing &amp; Operations teams to improve the Capital Equipment and Disposables lines.</li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for tools, fixtures &amp; process improvements.</li>\n<li>Work with stakeholders to create and deploy fixtures &amp; tooling.</li>\n<li>Understand current QMS processes and implement procedure improvements to expedite projects and improve compliance.</li>\n<li>Manage product requirements and ensure traceability.</li>\n<li>Participate in risk management activities, including the identification and mitigation of potential quality risks.</li>\n<li>Ensure processes are set up to encourage adherence to QMS.</li>\n<li>Travel as required to support business activities.</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education  </span></p>\n<p>University degree in Engineering or Science; or relevant work experience</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Certifications</span></p>\n<p>P. Eng is an asset</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Attributes </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of experience working in a regulated industry (medical, automotive, aerospace, etc.)</li>\n<li>Experience working in a clean room.</li>\n<li>Proven examples of fixture/tool implementation projects which deliver meaningful results to the business.</li>\n<li>Experience working on projects in a regulated environment; medical device development experience is an asset.</li>\n<li>Experience transferring designs from engineering to manufacturing</li>\n<li>Experience operating in a quality environment such as GLP, GMP, GCP, ISO 13485 or equivalent</li>\n<li>Able to work well in teams and independently</li>\n<li>Detail-oriented; highly motivated; patient and diligent</li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Clear, concise and thorough documentation</li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n<li>Valid passport for travel to United States and Europe.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We thank you for your interest in Profound Medical.
