This position is an operator qualified position with working experience in the use of fusion equipment and pipefitting procedures. The position may also be required to travel to various work locations based on SabCon Underground clients’ needs and deliver optimum customer service, operate mini excavator, HDD, other tasks as assigned. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Ability to assist the Foreman perform complex diagnostics and troubleshooting of gas systems and pipelines.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #231f20; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Ability to assist the Foreman with understanding and managing project schedules, resources, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Oversee and mentor junior and mid-level technicians</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Act as the secondary point of contact for management and other stakeholders during projects</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance, replacement or repair work as it relates to natural gas polyethylene piping.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Performs pipe fitting/connections and tie-ins for polyethylene pipe sizes predominately 2” and below.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Pipe joining techniques range from butt or socket fusion, electrofusion, or mechanical coupling.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Installation of EFV’s &amp; Valves</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Inspect and test piping systems for leaks.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Pressure Test/Pigging PE Pipe</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Understand the proper use and maintenance of fusion equipment and hand tools.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Frequently work around live gas systems and other utilities during hand digging functions to locate said utilities.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Exercise due care in protecting the utilities life and other property.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Maintains company vehicles, equipment and tools for proper working order.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Able to perform rigorous physical labor such as using a shovel, erection of road signs, and use of pneumatic and engine driven equipment.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Capable of working on a team, receiving and following directions.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555; font-family: Symbol\"><span>·        </span></span><span style=\"color: #231f20\">Possess a basic knowledge of materials used in natural gas infrastructure work.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #555555;
