Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operations of a growing multi-location organization. This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers, ensuring consistent application of company policies, supporting employee relations matters, maintaining compliance, and helping deliver a positive employee experience.
This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys balancing people, processes, and problem-solving while working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
• Conduct employee relations investigations and assist in resolving workplace issues in a fair, consistent, and compliant manner.
• Support performance management processes, including coaching conversations, corrective actions, and performance improvement plans.
• Administer leaves of absence, accommodations, workers’ compensation claims, unemployment claims, and other employee programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, policy communication, and employee documentation.
• Maintain employee records and HR data within HRIS systems.
• Process payroll ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Support employee engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives.
• Assist with HR reporting, audits, and compliance-related projects.
• Partner with managers to provide practical HR guidance and support operational needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, efficiency, and the overall employee experience.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Needed
• 5+ years of Human Resources experience
• Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience administering leaves, accommodations, and employee programs
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Multi-location experience preferred
• Healthcare, retail, hospitality, or service-industry experience preferred
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification preferred
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Needed
