Description

NOW HIRING: We are looking for a Shipping/Receiving Operator I to join our Circular Products team at our Sauk Rapids facility. The Shipping/Receiving Operator I is responsible for the identification of specific component parts and the preparation of products for shipment. Title: Shipping/Receiving Operator I Location: Sauk Rapids, MN Salary Range: $22.95 - 27.00 per hour (non-exempt) (In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.) Shift Schedule : 1st shift Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm Shift Differential : 1st shift - n/A As a Shipping/Receiving Operator I , you will: Uses a crane, hoist, forklift, or other material handling equipment to transport materials and products into and out of the work area as required Packages, bands, or shrink-wraps products or loads Efficiently loads and unloads finished products on trucks Follows customer shipping specifications/standard work Inspects of material handling equipment and lifting devices Verifies/Counts parts moved to match paperwork for inventory accuracy Maintains accurate inventory of shipping materials Interprets blueprints, BOL, and other necessary documents to identify parts Collaborates with other members of the shipping process Utilizes ERP software to understand the status of jobs & materials moving through the manufacturing process Inspects deliveries and accurately logs documentation Gathers/picks/assembles products on load lists Puts product away in designated areas Keeps area organized, maintains 5S Guidelines Role Qualifications as a Shipping/Receiving Operator : Experience in a manufacturing environment Skill of effective and appropriate verbal and written communication skills Skill to accurately use tape measure and precision measuring devices Computer literate; particularly in word processing, spreadsheet, email, shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications Ability to perform basic shop math functions Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork Ability to electronically record production information Ability to work independently using standardized practices and/or procedures and with others as part of a high-performance team Adapt to changing work priorities Strong attention to detail and organization skills Physical Demands (Production Roles): This position requires the individual to wear and work in company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires that the individual can lift a minimum of 50lbs. And, if applicable, can maneuver large, cumbersome equipment with the use of an overhead crane and/or forklift. Must be able to work in, on, or around equipment and machinery. The employee may need to perform work with the use of ladders. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met during a pre-employment Physical Work Screening (PWS).
