The Clinical Informatics Lead will also train any new incoming Providers on how to use the EMR system. They will work one on one with new Providers as well as create training material that can be utilized for future clinical team members. </p><p><b><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</u></b></p><p>Clinical (40%):</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Deliver direct Primary Care to assigned patients. Develop therapeutic plans of care for prevention, management and maintenance of optimum health for individuals.</li><li>Provide Preventive Health Services according to established practice standards. Provide health education and counseling to assigned patients by promoting positive health behaviors and self-care skills.</li><li>Provide care related to prenatal/postnatal services and care for uncomplicated pregnancies in conjunction with physician partner as delineated and approved for in request for clinical privileges.</li><li>Provide care for Acute and Chronic Illness and Urgent Care services that includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of illness.</li><li>Consult with physician partner and/or refer to sub-specialty care patients with more complex/dynamic problems.</li><li>Provide primary care and preventive services to children and adolescent populations within the assigned site/location as assigned by the designated clinical supervisor.</li></ul><p>Clinical Administrative (10%):</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Maintain and update Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in a systematic format and complete required documentation within the specified amount of time expected by the assigned manager/director.</li><li>Ensure that patient records are kept confidential consistent with Health Center policies and procedures, Joint Commission, and HIPAA standards.</li></ul><p>Clinical Informatics (50%):</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Conduct initial computer based training and onboarding for providers</li><li>Conduct EMR training for providers on new EMR features or workflows; along with re-training of providers who may require additional training to improve their EMR skills</li><li>Perform ongoing skills improvement, education, and enhanced competency training associated with the EMR applications</li><li>Participate in workflow design, development and re-engineering as upgrades, enhancement requests and new regulations are presented</li><li>Participate as clinical EMR provider on any EMR upgrades required for the organization</li><li>Participate as assigned on project implementation teams</li></ul><p><b><u>Qualifications</u></b><u>:</u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant</li><li><strong>Certified and Willing to clinically treat all ages (Pediatric to Geriatric)</strong></li><li>Massachusetts State medical license</li><li><strong>Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Primary Care or a related environment</strong></li><li>Minimum of 2 years clinical experience using EMRs such as EPIC, MediTech, eClinical Works, or NextGen. </li><li>Salary Range for NP or PA: $110,000-$120,000</li><li>Salary Range for MD: $210,000-$230,000</li></ul>",
