    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Peraton is seeking an experienced <strong>Full-Stack Engineer</strong> to support our Federal Strategic Cyber program. In this role, you will lead and execute end-to-end software development, leveraging frameworks like Angular to build responsive user interfaces while architecting robust Java/Python backend services and cloud environments. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Arlington, VA – hybrid telework/remote work environment. Must be able to come on-site as needed. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Full-Stack Development:</strong> Design, develop, test, document, and maintain both front-end (utilizing Angular and other modern frameworks) and back-end software applications. </li>\n <li><strong>Application Leadership:</strong> Lead the creation and implementation of custom web applications tailored to evolving client requirements. </li>\n <li><strong>Architecture & Database Design:</strong> Analyze and design databases, and assist in architecting scalable cloud-based environments, working independently or collaboratively. </li>\n <li><strong>AI & Feature Integration:</strong> Evaluate and support the integration of AI models and advanced capabilities into current tools and platforms. </li>\n <li><strong>Systems Integration:</strong> Address complex challenges related to systems integration, platform compatibility, and multi-environment deployment. </li>\n <li><strong>Agile Adaptation:</strong> Adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced development environment, supporting additional application areas as team priorities shift. </li>\n <li><strong>Maintenance & Optimization:</strong> Troubleshoot software issues, implement improvements based on user feedback, and contribute to the development of user manuals and technical documentation. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Experience & Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. </li>\n <li><strong>Core Software Engineering:</strong> Proven software development experience spanning the entire lifecycle, including proficiency in <strong>JavaScript/Typescript, Angular, Java, and Python</strong> (and/or other modern development languages). </li>\n <li><strong>API Development:</strong> Robust experience developing, integrating, and working with web APIs. </li>\n <li><strong>Cloud & Emerging Tech:</strong> Familiarity with cloud technologies and services, as well as AI models for potential work on integration into current tools and platforms. </li>\n <li><strong>DevOps Tools:</strong> Practical experience using tools like <strong>Atlassian JIRA, Jenkins Continuous Integration, and Git</strong> repositories. </li>\n <li><strong>Domain Awareness:</strong> Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts. </li>\n <li><strong>Citizenship & Clearance:</strong> \n  <ul>\n   <li>U.S. Citizenship is required. </li>\n   <li>Must possess an active <strong>Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility</strong>. </li>\n   <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation to start and for continued employment. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Framework Expertise:</strong> Deep development experience specifically focused within the <strong>Angular</strong> framework ecosystem. </li>\n <li><strong>Methodology:</strong> Experience working within <strong>SAFe Agile</strong> testing environments. </li>\n <li><strong>CI/CD Automation:</strong> Experience with <strong>GitLab CI/CD</strong> Test Automation Pipeline & Reporting. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
