    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an <strong>Accounting Technician, Gross Margins</strong>, on a full-time permanent basis with our Local Co-op Financial Services and Systems team.</p><p>This position is a <strong>hybrid</strong> opportunity and is based in <strong>Saskatoon, Saskatchewan</strong>.</p><p>If you're an independent professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving, we encourage you to apply!</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Audit Co-op inventory packages to assess gross margin calculations for accuracy and consistency.</li><li>Investigate irregularities and provide guidance to General Managers and department leaders, including recommendations for procedural or system improvements.</li><li>Review JDE RREC output to identify miscoding or processing errors and recommend corrections.</li><li>Liaise with FCL vendors to verify the accuracy of direct ship billing.</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Who you’ll work with:</strong><br><strong>The Team:</strong> You’ll join a collaborative accounting team of 35, reporting to the Supervisor, Business Accounting and working with peers across the Co-operative Retailing System to resolve discrepancies and support margin accuracy.
