    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Relationship Bankers are responsible for identifying customer needs and matching them with the appropriate bank products and services to enhance a current or prospective customer’s satisfaction, loyalty, and financial well-being.  Utilizing proactive sales/service efforts coupled with the recognition of referral opportunities, Relationship Bankers will deepen customer relationships while also processing a variety of cash and non-cash transactions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Floaters will travel between assigned branch locations and are encouraged to apply for open positions for permanent placement.</strong></em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Identify customer needs and make the appropriate referrals through proactive sales/service efforts </li>\n <li>Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loan products, insurance products, cash management services, etc.</li>\n <li>Deliver an exceptional customer experience that follows Trustmark’s service standards </li>\n <li>Continually safeguard the bank’s assets and security of the working environment while processing transactions accurately (deposits and withdrawals for transaction accounts, collection items, wire transfers, credit card transactions, loan payments and the opening, closing and other maintenance of customer accounts)</li>\n <li>Balances cash drawer daily for both the cash totals and to ensure appropriate document has been executed</li>\n <li>Achieve sales and referral goals quarterly while providing excellent customer service and utilizing opportunities to transform service into sales</li>\n <li>Making outreach calls to customers and/or prospects</li>\n <li>Comply with the bank’s guidelines, policies, procedures, and standards of performance</li>\n <li>Travel between branch locations</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED </li>\n <li>One year of sales or customer service experience (in lieu of experience, Bachelor’s degree is acceptable).</li>\n <li>Able to use basic math concepts and can handle routine transactions and close out the cash drawer </li>\n <li>Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to learn and communicate Trustmark products</li>\n <li>Pass appropriate assessment tests related to customer service and math skills</li>\n <li>Able to meet sales goals in a retail environment</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills and the ability to learn internal technology systems to perform work tasks</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written</li>\n <li> Time management skills</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy</li>\n <li>Demonstrate professional appearance and mannerisms as this position works with the public on a daily basis</li>\n <li>Experience in maintaining and balancing a cash drawer preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: </strong>Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
