Our jobs can lead to a successful future by developing resume building skills as well as gaining knowledge through training and work experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Some of our amazing perks and benefits:</strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>FREE admission to Carowinds and other Six Flags parks!</li>\n <li>FREE tickets for friends and family!</li>\n <li>10% discounts on food and 20% discounts on merchandise!</li>\n <li>Work with people from here, near, and from all over the world!</li>\n <li>Exclusive Team Member-only events!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Positions are currently available for those who are 16 or older.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>As part of the SCarowinds Terror Team, daily assigned duties vary & may include tasks such as:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>· Scare guests of all ages without touching by using the element of surprise</p>\n<p>· Entertain guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand/body movements and strong vocalization where applicable</p>\n<p>· Develop gestures and movements unique to the character to make our guests scream in terror</p>\n<p>· Wear complete costume, makeup, and/or mask provided as assigned.</p>\n<p>· Maintain a healthy and FUN scare experience for guests and fellow monsters</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>You!</strong></li>\n <li>People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates.</li>\n <li>Good judgement and a commitment to safety.</li>\n <li>Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.</li>\n <li>Individuals with a passion and excitement about Carowinds.</li>\n <li>Ability to demonstrate strong vocal tones & basic acting ability.</li>\n <li>Ability to scream and speak before large groups of people.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain a calm demeanor during emotionally charged situations.</li>\n <li>Ability to wear costumes with masks, and/or heavy make-up.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a dark or poorly lit area with special effects and atmospheric fog.</li>\n <li>Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
