    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Safety Intern will report to the Safety Director, providing EHS support to Metalcraft of Mayville manufacturing operations at our Mayville location.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with safety coordinators on individual safety topics as well as assist with training Shop Leaders in development of programs and engagement of all employees.</li>\n <li>Assist in reviewing and updating safety policies and procedures</li>\n <li>OSHA record keeping associated with recordable injuries.</li>\n <li>Participates in incident investigations and reviews and supports the preparation of relevant documentation using root cause methodologies.</li>\n <li>Compile and maintain safety statistics, analyze incident data for trends and prepare advisory or alert communications.</li>\n <li>Implementation and documentation of EH&S required training.</li>\n <li>Offers innovative solutions to solve difficult issues and leads employees and contractors to work in a safe team environment.</li>\n <li>Participates and/or Lead 6S Teams in developing, improving, and executing programs that align with the companies Key Performance Indicators.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Enrolled in a program related to Safety </li>\n <li>Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable with applicable safety regulations</li>\n <li>Excellent internal and external Customer Service Skills</li>\n <li>Problem solving skills</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PM17</p>\n<p>Metalcraft of Mayville is an Equal Opportunity Employer:Minorities, Women, Veterans, Disabilities</p>\n<p> </p>",
