KBL operates throughout Western Canada and Canada’s North. In this role, you will work on some really interesting projects with a great team of people. We are looking to build our pool of Project Managers and are open to a variety of options. For example:</p>\n<p>· <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Enjoy your down time! Fly in/fly out two weeks on/ two weeks off at our Yellowknife Giant Mine project. Generous travel related compensation</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">· Work fully remote – part-time, full time or for a specified length of time.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">· Fractional roles - not interested in managing the full duration of a project? Join us to work only on tenders/bids and project planning and set up</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">· Independent contractor? – we are open to these arrangements assuming all CRA and contractor requirements can be met.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">· F/T permanent – hybrid/on-site full-time roles are also available in many of our offices across Canada, including Calgary.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>What you’ll do:</p>\n<p>· Manage environmental remediation, reclamation, demolition, civil earthworks, and pipeline-related projects.</p>\n<p>· Prepare accurate project estimates, budgets, scopes, and forecasts.</p>\n<p>· Assist in the bidding process. Work as a part of a team to collect and compile needed technical information as well as general KBL info.</p>\n<p>· Ensure projects are executed in accordance with contracts, drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.</p>\n<p>· Monitor project performance related to safety, cost, schedule, productivity, profitability, and QA/QC.</p>\n<p>· Manage project costs, forecasting, documentation, progress billings, and change management.</p>\n<p>· Prepare and review technical reports, project documentation, and client deliverables.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who you are:</span></p>\n<p>· <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">5–10 years of Project Management experience related to General Construction, Mining, Environmental Remediation/Reclamation, Earthworks, Demolition, or Oil &amp; Gas Construction projects.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">· Strong knowledge of construction project management.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">· Post-secondary education in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or a related program is an asset.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">· Experience managing projects in remote or northern environments is a definite asset.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">· Strong estimating experience is considered a major asset.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">· Technical writing experience, including reports and project documentation, is considered an asset.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">· Ability to work independently but also as part of a team</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">· Ability to travel a definite asset.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Working Conditions &amp; Physical Demands (to be updated based on type of position)</p>\n<p>This role may require a combination of office-based, remote, and on-site work depending on business needs.
