    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The CKD Purchasing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the production line has a continuous supply of needed parts by monitoring inventory levels and purchasing processes, providing information to suppliers, working on trial builds and Purchase Orders (POs), maintaining purchasing information, providing information for status reports, and analyzing part requirements.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process and daily requirement changes</li>\n <li>Prepare and analyze transportation cost and planning for saving cost on transportation</li>\n <li>Conduct and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and quarterly inventories</li>\n <li>Ensure accurate and timely communication with Korean suppliers and logistics partners.</li>\n <li>Interpret and prepare critical documents for headquarters without errors. </li>\n <li>Support urgent problem-solving and negotiations during extended work hours. </li>\n <li>Maintain operational efficiency and reduce risks caused by language barriers. </li>\n <li>Provide requirements and inventory assessments to Suppliers to ensure efficient operations of all applicable module processes </li>\n <li>Work with Production Control on all trial builds and issue Purchase Orders (POs) to support the programs ensuring timely delivery and correct Engineering Order-level parts </li>\n <li>Ensure accuracy of POs by maintaining SAP Material Master Data </li>\n <li>Maintain scheduling agreements, source lists, inventory, and other SAP functions </li>\n <li>Compile information such as material inventories, materials used, or customer information so that status reports can be completed </li>\n <li>Manage daily and monthly inventory levels and Engineering Change Order schedule </li>\n <li>Analyze and comprehend all part requirements in accordance with the specifications, frequency of use, outside variables, and packaging in order to maintain a minimum stock level in a timely manner </li>\n <li>Prompt, regular, predictable attendance </li>\n <li>Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours </li>\n <li>Overtime and weekend work as required </li>\n <li>All other job duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><strong>Su</strong><strong>pervisory Responsibilities:</strong> No</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Solid Accounting/Finance/Mathematical skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Excellent Organizational Skills</li>\n <li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint</li>\n <li>Ability to speak and write in both Korean and English</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field</li>\n <li>Automotive manufacturing experience</li>\n <li>SAP experience</li>\n <li>Import/export experience</li>\n <li>NAFTA experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Position hours: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.</li>\n <li>75% office, 25% production floor</li>\n <li>Traversing around production floor</li>\n <li>Overtime as needed</li>\n <li>Occasional travel as needed</li>\n</ul>",
